Ella Jenkins’ “Get Moving”
No need to worry about your kids getting bored inside this winter! Just put Ella Jenkin’s “Get Moving” CD in and let the kids since and move to the music. “Get Moving” is about more than just music! Ella knows just what to sing to get your kids moving! She plays games during the songs. The first one is a version of Red Light, Green Light- yes, I used to play that as a kid too. She asks them silly questions and gets them to answer back in song during Did You Feed My Cow. My son said no, but he fed the chickens, does that count, LOL. It actually does! The last song on the CD is Who Fed The Chickens!
She even does her own versions of tried and true kid’s nursery Rhymes. London Bridge is Falling Down keeps the kids guessing as she plays her harmonica. Not only does she teach them songs, they learn about different instruments as well. My favorite action song is “Head and Shoulder.” I can hear all the kids working to keep up with Ella during this cute song.
Delightful, fun and warm are three words that come to mind when I listen to Ella’s new CD. I highly recommend it for kids ages 2 and up. This is a great rainy day CD, snow bound CD or preschool fun CD! What are you doing this winter to make sure your kids get the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity each day? If you can’t think of anything, be sure to enter to win Ella’s CD!
