My Review:
I have to admit, I was so excited to try the Skora Fit Footwear because they seemed like a step up from the “toe shoes” I had reviewed a few months ago. My toes didn’t fit into the the shoe properly and they were fun, but not very practical. The Skora Fit was a great combination of “barefoot running” and supported running shoes. The lightweight, breathable fabric was like a second skin. They didn’t irritate my feet and the off-centered tongue was very comfortable.
The Skora Fit fit comfortably. I really dislike it when you get footwear and none of the sizes fit just right. With Skora, I don’t have to worry about the length of my toes. There are no “toe holes.” I also like how the Skora’s lace up. The bungee cord fit doesn’t seem as customized to me. With regular laces, you can adjust the tightness from the toes up.
One of my favorite things about my Skora Footwear is the colorful fabric! Can’t go wrong with pink footwear. The antimicrobial insole is also a great feature. You can’t even tell when my sweaty feet have been in them.
There are a few levels of sole thickness with Skora footwear. I choose the FIT because it was the best combination of support and comfort. I have used them for speed walking and my new jogging adventure. My son and I had started the Couch to 5K and had to stop due to a virus he had. Now that we are back in business, we are headed in the right direction. It’s always more fun to train with a partner.
