Cinnabon might be everyone’s favorite Cinnamon rolls but they are always looking for ways to improve and make new creations with their goodies. With their “In the Kitchen” section of their website, you can take your favorite Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls and make a delicious holiday breakfast for the entire family. The recipes are easy enough to anyone to follow but will have you looking like a rock star to your family!
Two of the recipes you will find In the Kitchen with Cinnabon is french toast and bread pudding. While I love making french toast, I opted for the road less traveled and decided to try my hand at bread pudding instead. And, let me be honest, I don’t like traditional bread pudding at all. It is a dessert that I always think looks amazing, but tastes a little icky. So, if Cinnabon can win me over with this dessert… um… I mean…. breakfast – it can win anyone over!
To make Cinnabon Bread Pudding, you will need to make the custard and soak your cinnamon rolls overnight. I was a little skeptical and thought an overnight soak would turn the rolls into complete mush. The next morning I awoke to discover much of the custard was absorbed by the rolls and they were still pretty firm. (So far, so good!)
I cut my rolls into large chunks before soaking the night before but I separated them further when I placed them into my baking dish.
*Tip: Don’t pour the remaining custard over your rolls!
While the rolls were baking I made a caramel sauce to add to the top and Mmmmmmm, mmmmmm, mmmmm…. it was amazing!
Baby girl woke up just after the rolls were pulled out of the oven. I was actually taking photos of my competed bread pudding when she wondered down the stairs and plopped nearby – impatiently wanting to try some. She was so cute I snapped a few sleepy-eyed photos of her. I think you can tell from the photo above – she liked it… a lot!
Delight your family and friends with 4- or 6-count CinnaPacks. Available as Classic Rolls, Caramel Pecanbon rolls and Combo Packs. Also available as 9- or 15-count Packs of Minibon rolls.
Our entire family enjoyed the bread pudding created using our Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. Even the few that were complaining because they didn’t want to “ruin” our Cinnabons thought the bread pudding was delicious. It is a wonderful way to make a few Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls stretch among a larger group of people. We were able to make two batches of bread pudding for two separate mornings with only six rolls!
