My thoughts about Acnevir: Yes, I admit it- I have adult acne and I have very sensitive skin. And I thought having so much acne as a teen was enough, I guess some of us never get rid of it! I was pleasantly surprised at how easily Acnevir supplemented my daily skin care routine. After I shower in the morning, I put a small amount of Acnevir on my fingertips and gently massage it into my face and neck. It goes on easily, it’s water-based so it absorbs quickly. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky at all. I then add my daily moisturizer and a little makeup, depending on what I’m doing that day. When I notice pimples at night after I wash my face, I use more Acnevir. I tend to have oily skin so it does not dry my skin out at all. I was surprised at how quickly the redness and pimples disappeared. I didn’t have to try to cover them with makeup the next day. My hubby tried Acnevir also. He does get adult acne but his skin is not sensitive like mine. He was born and raised in Florida, so he has a darker complexion compared to my white skin and freckles. After using it a few times, he noticed it did help his acne, but he thought it actually caused more acne as well. He didn’t use Acnevir on his whole face, just on a few spots. Once I told him how I used it, he has tried it again and is very happy with the results! Overall, I love that Acnevir is for Adults, has Aloe in it and is a Homeopathic Topical Gel. It feels good going on your skin and really works to reduce redness and prevent more pimple outbreaks.
