My ten year-old is constantly asking me to take a look at some new website she wants permission to play on. The most recent gaming website she was interested in is called Poki. Poki is a child-friendly gaming portal with more games than I can possibly count on it. I was immediately drawn to the mazes and thinking games while she wanted me to go straight to the dress-up games so she could get started playing too.
Her new love is Ever After High dolls and she was really thrilled to see Poki had so many dress-up games relating to them. Her response:
“It was so cool! Most of the games even had music and songs that I really like playing while we get to dress up the dolls!”
We also took a look and played with a few Frozen and Elsa inspired games together. Baby Girl joined us because she loves Egg Surprise videos. We found her a game that allowed her to “help” make hollow chocolate eggs with Elsa. Now she thinks she is ready to make real chocolate eggs since she did so great on the game!
After I finished looking over everything the girls wanted to play, I previewed some of the other games Poki offered. They truly have games for everyone. Racing games, sports games, action games, games for girls, games based off movies, adventure games, arcade games, thinking games, skill games, and board games…. I’m floored that they have so many!
Note: Mom Does Reviews always recommends parents of children and teens supervise their children online.
As I originally wanted to do, I went to the thinking games and played a maze game that was really interesting. It reminded me of the PC games I would play when I was a kid. What was your favorite PC game as a child? Poki has a search bar that may help you find a game similar to your old favorite! (Shhhh, I won’t tell your kids if you don’t tell mine!)
Stop by and take a look at Poki during free-time play for your family. I think you will like how easy it is to play a game and that you don’t need to create an account to play.
Have fun, happy gaming this weekend!
