I love Wholly Guacamole so much, it’s hard to pick my favorite new dip or salsa! Because I am not a huge fan of spicy, I enjoyed the Layered Dips the most.
- Taco Bean Dip & Guacamole – Featuring the timeless flavors of Hass avocado, pinto beans, roasted corn and tomato, this dip is blended to perfection with paprika, cumin, oregano and masa spices.
- Black Bean Dip & Homestyle Guacamole – This yummy option consists of black beans, corn, garlic, and cumin, all layered on top of the Wholly Guacamole® Homestyle dip which is composed of creamy avocado, Serrano peppers, cilantro and lime.
- Avocado, Black Bean & Roasted Corn Dip – A member of the Wholly Salsa® category, this option combines chunks of avocado, whole black beans and fire roasted corn with spicy red bell pepper, a bit of cilantro and a hint of jalapeño pepper for a flavorful kick.
Out of the three dips, the Taco Bean Dip and Guacamole was my favorite. I love the textures mixed together. It was excellent on the nachos my hubby made for dinner last week. It was the perfect spicy level for me.
If I wanted to eat one of the dips just with tortilla chips, the Layered Black Bean Dip is my favorite. I love that this one has corn in it too (actually, they all do) as it adds just a little sweetness to the delicious combination. It is great on chips, cracker, even just by the spoonful.
The Avacado, Black Bean and Roasted Corn dip was super tasty and much more spicy than the others. Because it was a salsa, it was much thinner than the avocado dips. It it had been thicker and chunkier, it would have been perfect!
I also received some 100 calorie mini packs that are my new favorite snack for work. I love that they are fresh until you dig into them. I don’t mind eating brown guacamole, but it just looks better when it’s all one color. LOL.
Be sure to pick some Wholly Guacamole up for your next party- it will be love at first bite and most likely the life of the party!

Here’s a great recipe to try:
Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos
http://cookingformyfamily.blogspot.com
Ingredients
- 3-4 chicken breasts (you can use frozen)
- 1.5 cups cooked rice
- 1 to 2 cups of salsa (Wholly™ Brand) (depending on your tastes)
- 1 can of black beans
- 1 cup frozen corn (optional, we did not use this but you could if you want it in there)
- 2 tblsp lime juice
- 1 block cream cheese
- Wholly Guacamole® dip
- sliced tomatoes
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Put the chicken breasts, beans, salsa, lime juice, and corn into the crockpot. Also add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook on high for 4 hours (or until your chicken is done).
- The last 30 minutes, add the cooked rice and stir into mixture so it can soak up the remaining juices in there.
- This is also the point that I usually shred the chicken for the tacos, this is optional, but makes them much easier to eat!
- Then add the cream cheese to the top and let it melt in.
- Once the time is up stir it all together really well.
- Scoop the filling into your taco shells, hard or soft, and then top with the Wholly Guacamole dip and tomato. Super yummy!
- You can tweak this for however your family likes to eat tacos.
