My husband selected the Lugz Men’s Durabrush Pathway shoes in black. He wears a lot of work boots throughout the day as he goes from job site to job site. However for the days where he’s doing sales calls he needs something that’s dressier than runners but are still casual as he doesn’t wear a suit for sales calls. He’s visiting and talking to contractors and suppliers on job sites so he needs to be casual but a little more dressed up than if he’s working at the job site himself. He selected the pathways for just that reason, they’re a good solid shoe, it’s not work boot and they’re a little dressier.
As you can see in this picture he’s wearing them with jeans.
These are what the shoes looked like after wearing them all day, the picture makes it look like they are dusty but believe it or not they aren’t. They just need to be wiped in one direction as it’s suede looking material but it’s easy to take care of as my husband just wipes it down with a damp cloth and he’s done. He wanted something that would be more comfortable and not take too long to break in which these didn’t. He’s been wearing them almost every day he doesn’t need his work boots so I know they’re comfortable because he would not wear them that often if they weren’t.
I thought it was funny when he mentioned that the only “challenge” he has with them is sometimes he has to make sure to double check before he goes to put them on as it’s not always obvious which one is the right or left shoe. They are a bit more of a block style look but no too much, they’re solid and they’re very good as an every day shoe according to my husband.
Overall Lugz Men’s Pathway shoes get a 2 thumbs up from Powered by Mom’s hubby for comfort, durability, style and price (especially if you use the 40% off!).
