About Heat Holders:
Why are they so warm? Heat Holders use advanced insulating yarn. The specially developed advanced fibers provide high performance insulation against cold with superior moisture wicking abilities. The have long looped thermal pile that holds in more warm air, increasing the thermal tog rating. And they have a soft brushed inner that maximizes the amount of warm air held inside the sock for all-day warmth and comfort.
What is a Tog Rating? TOG means Thermal Overall Grade. It is a scientific test that measures the thermal (heat retaining) capacity of fabric. Heat Holders® when tested using this standard rates TOG 2.34. This is 7x warmer than cotton socks and almost 3x warmer than an ordinary thermal socks! We test socks from most major brands that we can get our hands on and it is safe to say that Heat Holders® is almost 40% warmer than the warmest sock we have ever tested, which was a heavy sock with 80% plus wool!

My Review:
Heat Holders claim to be 7 times warmer than a regular cotton sock! It’s true! I have been wearing mine since yesterday afternoon when we kept losing power. The only part of my body that was warm was my feet. These socks are so warm and soft inside, I don’t want to take them off. Living in New England, having cold feet is just a part of life. But with Heat Holders, I think my cold feet days are over.
From the minute I put my foot into the Heat Holders, I was hooked. They are so soft- actually softer than the lining on a fleece sweatshirt. They are thick, but not so bulky that I can’t get my shoes on. They come in all sizes and colors too. I got the blue and black ones for my hubby, but I am claiming the blue ones as mine.
I highly recommend these Heat Holders for anyone living in a cold climate. They make the perfect Christmas gift for that hard-to-buy-for man in your life!
