Are you excited yet?
Are you a fan of the Grimm fairy tales? How about the 1987 Broadway musical Into the Woods? If so, Mom Does Reviews has some great news for you from Disney Pictures!
Disney has created a new film adaptation of the Into the Woods Musical that intertwines stories from favorite Disney characters and the Grimm fairytales. You can look forward to updated musical favorites from the Broadway hit Into the Woods, such as, “Children Will Listen,” “Giants in the Sky,” “On the Steps of the Palace,” “No One Is Alone” and “Agony,” among others!
Not familiar with this version of the story? Don’t be afraid, Meryl Streep’s character isn’t the main focus in this tale (well… not really). The story tells of a baker and his wife who wish to have children but the witch (Meryl Streep) has placed a curse on them. It continues by showing the consequences of decisions, choices, and wishes made by each of the characters- to tell the stories within the story.
Get excited with Mom Does Reviews as we await the arrival of this humorous and heartfelt film in theaters!
