Need a super easy, hot breakfast any day of the week? You can make Oatmeal in the Instant pot! Get creative- use French Vanilla flavored creamer and substitute apple for Pumpkin and you can make French Vanilla Apple Oatmeal!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 cup non-fat pumpkin coffee creamer
- 2 cups skim milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- chopped pecans for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
In the pot of a instant pot add the oats, milk, creamer, salt and vanilla.
Close the instant pot lid.
Set the vent to sealed.
Press MANUAL and set timer for 10 minutes.
Let the oatmeal natural release for at least 12 minutes.
Release the pressure.
Stir in the pumpkin, maple syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Serve topped chopped pecans.
