Little Sprouts Fresh Picked Fruit & Veggie Tote– Hours of play for little hands!

Fill a tote with freshly designed produce! Invite early dramatic play, build vocabulary and reinforce good nutrition. Soft, rubberized plastic produce has a spunky look that little sprouts will love!

  • Set of 17 includes red apple, tomato, strawberry, apricot, carrot, lettuce, pear, cucumber, berry cluster, plum, grapes, corn, banana, lemon, onion, potato and storage tote
  • Specially designed for little hands.
  • Durable canvas tote measures 8”H x 9”W

This Fresh Picked Fruit & Veggie Tote from Learning Resources is a toddler’s dream come true!  These toys are not your ordinary play food that you get for $1.99 at a chain retail store. These fruits and veggies look and feel good enough to try to eat.  Not only do they help teach your child to recognize their fruits and veggies, but by acting out eating them, they will be more likely to eat their carrots just like the ones in their own Veggie Tote.

These Fruits and Veggies will be perfect for teaching your little ones about where our food comes from.  In the spring, plant cucumber, corn, carrots, onions and potatoes.  Water, watch and weed your veggies.  This is fascinating for little minds.  Go one step further and print, color, draw pictures of the veggies and put them on the end of the row marker.  Be sure to laminate them or put them in sandwich bags so the drawings don’t wash away with the rain or fade in the sun.  When harvest day comes.  Be sure to show your child the play food and then the real food.  They should be much more likely to try new foods if they really aren’t new at all.  They are just real, not plastic.

Learning Resources makes high-quality toys that will stand up to the toughest toddler around.  They are easy to clean so they can be used and shared safely.  I highly recommend The Fresh Picked Fruit &Veggie Tote for your little one- ages 2+.  These would be perfect for preschool or daycare settings as well as at home.   I just wish they had been around when my son was little.
